How the body affects value

Curtains get torn and buckles break, so we expect wear. The bits that make a real difference are the body structure and the extras:

  • Curtains and buckles: torn curtains are cheap to replace, but rotten floors and damaged posts aren’t
  • Tail lift: make, capacity, whether it works, and its LOLER inspection
  • Roof: sliding or fixed, and any leaks
  • Load restraint: EN 12642 XL bodies are worth more to some buyers
