Selling a truck in Northern Ireland
The paperwork works the same way as in Great Britain. DVLA has handled vehicle registration in Northern Ireland since 2014, so your truck has a V5C logbook and you tell DVLA about the sale in the usual way. Annual tests are booked through DVA rather than DVSA, so just put the test expiry date in the MOT box on our form.
Once we’ve inspected the truck and agreed the final price, we pay the same day and arrange collection, wherever the truck is.
