Box trucks we buy
- Standard dry-freight boxes on 7.5, 12, 18 and 26 tonne chassis
- Tail-lift box trucks for home delivery and retail work
- Removals and furniture bodies with Luton-style overcabs
- Box bodies with roller shutters or side doors
- Exhibition and specialist boxes, such as mobile workshops and display trucks
What we check on a box body
A box body is simple, but water damage and floor rot can be expensive to fix. We look at:
- Panel damage, delamination and roof leaks
- Floor condition and any soft spots
- Rear doors or roller shutter, hinges and seals
- Tail-lift operation and its inspection history
If the body is past saving, we still buy the truck. A good chassis cab is valuable in its own right.
Refrigerated box?
If your box has a fridge unit, see our page on selling a refrigerated lorry. The fridge needs pricing on its own.

Questions sellers ask
Anything else? Call or WhatsApp us on 07402 295831.
Do you buy a box truck with a leaking roof?
Yes. Water damage lowers the price, but we still buy the truck. Include photos of the roof, the floor and any staining inside the box, so we can see how far the damage goes before we make an offer.
Do you buy removals lorries?
Yes. We buy removals and furniture trucks from 7.5 tonnes up, including older Luton-bodied trucks. Tell us about the body, the tail lift and any fittings inside, such as tie rails or shelving.
Does the tail lift need an inspection report?
No. A tail lift is lifting equipment, so it should have regular thorough examinations, and an up-to-date report helps the price. We buy box trucks with or without one, and with a tail lift that works or not.
Can you buy the truck if the box is scrap?
Yes. We buy the whole truck as it stands, so there’s no need to take the body off. If the box is beyond saving, we price the truck on its chassis, cab and mechanical condition.
