Tankers we buy
- Fuel tankers for heating oil and diesel delivery, with meters and hose reels
- Water bowsers and potable water tankers
- Gully emptiers, vacuum tankers and jetters for drainage work
- Waste and sludge tankers
- Bulk powder tankers on rigid chassis
What affects a tanker’s value
- Tank type and capacity: number of compartments, litres, and the material it’s made from
- Test certificates: ADR certification for fuel tankers, and the tank’s test dates
- Equipment: pumps, meters, hose reels and vacuum pumps
- Condition: corrosion, dents and the state of valves and seals
Out-of-date tank tests and missing ADR paperwork lower the price, but we still buy the truck.

Questions sellers ask
Anything else? Call or WhatsApp us on 07402 295831.
Do you buy fuel tankers with expired ADR?
Yes. An expired ADR certificate or an overdue tank test lowers the price, because the next owner has to pay to bring it back into test, but we still buy the truck. Put the dates on the form.
Do you buy gully emptiers?
Yes. Gully emptiers, vacuum tankers and combination jetters come up from councils, utility contractors and drainage firms. The vacuum and jetting pumps drive the price, so tell us their make and condition.
Does the tank need to be empty?
Yes. Please empty it before collection and tell us what it last carried. An empty tank that hasn’t been cleaned can still count as carrying dangerous goods, so knowing its last load lets us plan the collection properly.
Do you buy water bowsers?
Yes, both drinking-water tankers and the bowsers used for dust suppression and site work. Tell us the capacity, and whether it has a pump, spray bar or hose reel.
